WAKEFIELD, Mass. (AP) - Massachusetts State Police have released the identity of a man killed when he was struck by a truck while walking on Interstate 95 on Monday.

State police said Tuesday they are still investigating the death of 39-year-old John Marsetta of Gloucester, who was hit by a box truck near the Route 129 on-ramp in Wakefield.

No charges have been filed.

Police said the driver of the box truck, 51-year-old Scott Carmichael of Tewksbury, remained on the scene until troopers arrived.

Marsetta was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. It’s unclear why he was walking in the roadway.
