MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) - Manchester Township has fired the township administrator after she was arrested on charges of buying drugs in a township-owned vehicle.

Elena Zsoldos was suspended without pay on April 29, one day after the 44-year-old was arrested in Asbury Park and charged with cocaine possession.

The Asbury Park Press (https://on.app.com/1giMVgK ) reports the township council has appointed Police Chief Brian Klimakowski as acting business administrator.
