DETROIT (AP) - A 48-year-old Detroit man has been charged with first-degree premeditated murder in the stabbing death of a woman near the city’s Eastern Market area.
The Wayne County prosecutor’s office says Alphonso Jordan was arraigned Thursday and faces a May 27 preliminary examination.
Jordan was ordered held in the county jail.
The body of 49-year-old Dawn Marie Ferguson was found early Tuesday morning in front of a building. She had suffered multiple stab wounds.
