COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) - The Canadian Forces Snowbirds are returning to a Columbia air show after a 12 year hiatus.

Mary Posner, chairwoman of the Memorial Day Weekend Salute to Veterans Corp., says the Snowbirds will headline the air show during the 26th annual Salute to Veterans Celebration on Memorial Day weekend.

The Columbia Daily Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1nbiJCN ) also appearing at the air show at Columbia Regional Airport will be a Navy PV-2 Harpoon reconnaissance aircraft from World War II. The plane will be on the ground for visitors to tour.

The U.S. Army Golden Knights parachute team also will perform.
