OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - A police standoff in north Omaha involving a man has ended without incident.

Omaha Sgt. Michael McGee says officers set up perimeters around a home Wednesday afternoon after receiving a report of a suicidal individual. Police established communication with a man inside the home. He told them he had lighter fluid.

Omaha television station KETV reports (https://bit.ly/1pdTd0Q ) the man eventually surrendered without incident. He’s set to undergo an evaluation.



Authorities have not released the man’s name. Additional information was not available.
