FOREST CITY, Iowa (AP) - Dozens of workers are readying a field in Forest City for a weekend country music festival that is expected to attract thousands of people.
The Mason City Globe Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/R8RYEl ) the TreeTown Music Festival is set to begin Friday evening and continue through Sunday.
Performers include well-known performers, such as Brad Paisley and Toby Keith.
Crews plan to set up the 106-foot-wide main stage Thursday and install production gear Friday.
TreeTown Festival General Manager Gary DeWaard says gates will open Friday morning and performances are scheduled to begin in the evening.
Event organizers plan to make the festival an annual event and on Saturday will announce top performers for next year’s show.
