ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - About 200 people from across New York state are attending a crimes against children seminar being held at the State Police Academy in Albany.

State police officials say 80 different agencies are represented at the seminar, which has drawn law enforcement officials, social workers, prosecutors and medical professionals.

The seminar, organized by the state police Special Victims Unit, includes expert speakers on a variety of topics including sex trafficking, Internet crimes against children, child psychology and disability awareness.

The seminar began on Monday and wraps up Friday. It’s made possible through funding by the state Office of Children and Family Services.
