ELIZABETH, N.J. (AP) - Bail is set at $750,000 for an Elizabeth man accused of beating his 2-year-old daughter to death.
Union County prosecutors have charges 30-year-old Jorge Orozco with murder and child endangerment stemming from the February death of his daughter, Dayana.
An autopsy determined the child died of blunt-force trauma.
Her mother, 30-year-old Raquel Ramirez, was charged in February with aggravated assault and child endangerment stemming from injuries the girl sustained in the days leading to her death.
