Many are ready to stride on stage at the three-day Republican Leadership Conference, which begins Thursday in New Orleans. There’s a new entry on the roster, though: the plainspoken “Duck Dynasty” star Phil Robertson, simply billed as “patriarch of the Robertson family” by the organizers of the event.

There are other luminaries scheduled.

Among them: Sens. Mike Lee of Utah and Ted Cruz of Texas - who will lead a prayer breakfast - plus Reps. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota and Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee, Govs. Bobby Jindal of Louisiana and Rick Perry of Texas, Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus, Donald Trump, Allen West, Haley Barbour, Herman Cain, Newt and Callista Gingrich, Rick Santorum and author Dinesh D’Souza.
