HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (AP) - Garland County authorities say they are seeking a man for questioning in connection with a recent shooting death.
The county sheriff’s office says 30-year-old Steven Swanigan is being sought on capital murder and aggravated burglary charges in the Wednesday shooting death of 26-year-old Mayela Mata in Garland County.
Authorities say Swanigan was spotted in Conway early Saturday morning - but that he escaped from officers seeking to arrest him.
A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Swanigan.
