COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - The City of Columbia is celebrating the end of the school year with a special party for area children.

Mayor Steve Benjamin and other officials are putting on a Let’s Move “End of School Bash!” on Saturday at the Drew Wellness Center Greenway.

The free event features a cookout, scavenger hunt, line dancing, face painting, games and music. There will also be a “Meet, Greet and Play” with former University of South Carolina football and NFL players.
