MOSS POINT, Miss. (AP) - Almost seven years after somebody strangled 80-year-old Gloria Gibson in a small community near Moss Point, Jackson County investigators are once more looking at the case.

The Sun Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1kD4K71 ) that Sgt. Jeff Smith taking a fresh look at the file.

Gibson had been dead 24 to 48 hours when a neighbor realized that her back door had been open all day.

Friends and family said she spent time doing crossword puzzles, reading or visiting with relatives. She also loved to go to the casinos.
