THORNDALE, Pa. (AP) - A southeastern Pennsylvania woman is facing charges after investigators said her 7-year-old grandson brought heroin to school.

The Chester County district attorney’s office said Monday that 56-year-old Pauline Bilinski-Munion of Modena is facing child endangerment and drug charges.

Prosecutors said the first-grader found several bags of heroin on the floor at his grandmother’s home and brought them to Caln Elementary School on Friday.

A teacher was told by other children about the drugs and found nine bags of heroin in the boy’s pants pocket.

Authorities said Bilinski-Munion was babysitting the 7-year-old and a 1-year-old child and told police she lost track of the heroin she brought into the home.

She is being held at the county prison and could not be reached for comment.
