TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) - The Topeka Zoo is celebrating the birth of three Sumatran tiger cubs.

The city announced the cubs were born Sunday afternoon to their 4-year-old mother, Jingga.

Zoo director Brendan Wiley says workers will watch the mother and her cubs in an isolated section of the zoo for the next two weeks while Jingga adjusts to her new babies. The father is Rogo, a 7-year-old tiger.

The city says in a news release the public will able to see the cubs in 90 days but the zoo hopes to release video of the new arrivals soon.
