DOVER, Del. (AP) - A Kent County man is charged in the death of his six-month-old daughter.

Delaware State Police say Randy Mosley of Magnolia turned himself in Monday. He’s charged with child endangerment and has been released on $5,000 unsecured bond.

Authorities began an investigation in October after a 911 call regarding an unresponsive infant at Mosley’s mobile home. Aryanna Mosley died at the scene.

According to police, Mosley used a blanket to prop a bottle of formula in his daughter’s mouth. Police say he tucked her arms in another blanket so she couldn’t knock the bottle out of her mouth, and he then went to sleep. Several hours later, he checked on the girl and found the bottle out of her mouth and a blanket covering her face.
