LOGAN, Utah (AP) - A Cache County search team has rescued a family of six that got lost in the snow while hunting turkeys near Logan Canyon.

Deputies got word about 8:30 p.m. Monday that a couple’s vehicle broke down 12 miles north of Hardware Ranch with their four children - ages 8, 6, 2 and 5 months.

They walked toward the canyon and found an area with cell coverage but were confused about their whereabouts.

Five search teams with 20 rescuers tracked them down with GPS about 10:30 p.m.

They were cold after six hours outdoors but in good condition with no serious injuries.

Natalie Kaee and the two youngest children were brought in on rescue sleds while Chris Kaee and the two other kids were taken to safety on snowmobiles.
