LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police are looking for a 43-year-old man as the prime suspect in the slaying of his grandfather in Las Vegas.

Police identified Steven Woodard as armed and dangerous, but haven’t said how his grandfather died at a home on Cottonwood Place, several miles southeast of the Las Vegas Strip.

Police said Tuesday that it appeared the slaying occurred late Monday.

Police say Woodard also tried to harm his father and the father’s roommate at a home just off Charleston Boulevard near Maryland Parkway, and that he had been seen on foot in that area.
