NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. (AP) - Police have made one arrest and are looking for other suspects following a drive-by shooting in New Brunswick.

Police say officers gave chase after they observed shots being fired from a car traveling on Livingston Avenue at another vehicle just after noon Tuesday.

Police say one of the occupants bailed out and officers apprehended 31-year-old Jerome Williams of New Brunswick. He’s charged with conspiracy to commit murder, attempted murder and unlawful possession of a handgun.

Two handguns were recovered from the unoccupied vehicle Williams was riding in.

Police are trying to identify the driver and the occupants of the second vehicle, which is described as a green Hyundai Santa Fe.
