WESTWOOD, Mass. (AP) - A former Westwood High School student has sued a former teacher he alleges sexually abused him.

The suit announced Tuesday also names as defendants the former principal and the school committee.

Carmen Durso, the attorney for the plaintiff referred to in court papers as John Doe, says his client suffered from a condition that made it difficult to walk and was taken advantage of by a female teacher who provided him with drugs in exchange for sexual favors.

Doe is now 23 years old. The teacher no longer works at the school.

Superintendent John Antonucci said the school investigated interactions between the teacher and the student, and did not find indications of a sexual relationship. He says no evidence of a sexual relationship arose until after both had left the school.
