HELENA-WEST HELENA, Ark. (AP) - The King Biscuit Blues Festival in Helena-West Helena has announced its 2014 lineup, and the acts include James Cotton, Delbert McClinton and Sonny Burgess.

The festival runs Oct. 9-11 and is held in the city’s downtown near the Mississippi River levee.

The event is to book nearly 50 musical acts.

Rockabilly musician Sonny Burgess, a native of the Arkansas Delta, is to play on the first day of the festival. Also on the bill Oct. 9 is guitarist Sonny Landreth.

On Oct. 10, Bobby Rush, Anson Funderberg and McClinton are to play. The final day of the festival includes Cotton and Jimmy Vivino and the Black Italians.

Tickets are $30 per day, but a three-day early bird ticket for $45 is now on sale through the festival’s website, https://www.kingbiscuitfestival.com/tickets .
