NEW YORK (AP) - A young boy is in stable condition after getting caught in a roll-up gate in Brooklyn.
Police say it happened around 6 p.m. Thursday.
The boy, who is around 6 or 7 years old, was holding onto the gate as it rolled up.
Officials say his head and one arm got stuck in the metal as it went up.
Firefighters used tools and an air bag to stretch the metal to free the boy.
Witnesses said it took about 15 minutes to free him.
He was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
