LAS VEGAS (AP) — Virgin America says it’s adding seasonal non-stop flights between Las Vegas and Boston starting January.

The route is a first for the airline, which says it’s also adding two extra roundtrip flights between Las Vegas and New York between January and April.

The Boston flights will be available Jan. 8 through April 28. Flights will leave Boston on Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and return Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Extra flights between Las Vegas and John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York will be available Jan. 5 through April 28. Flights will leave JFK on Wednesday and Thursday and return Monday and Wednesday. That’s in addition to the airline’s existing daily roundtrip flights between New York and Las Vegas.
