Anacostia High School was evacuated Thursday afternoon after school officials received a bomb threat, police confirmed.
A spokeswoman for the Metropolitan Police Department told The Washington Times that Frank W. Ballou High School also received a threat, but police found nothing after doing the search.
The spokeswoman said police are currently responding at Anacostia High School. The threat came in to police around 11:53 a.m.
Police could not provide further information on the threats, and it was unclear how they were received.
