PHOENIX (AP) - A 20-year-old man has been sentenced to 14 years in prison in the killing of another man on the Gila River Indian Community.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office says U.S. District Judge John Tuchi (TOO’-chee) sentenced Lorenzo Dale Flores on Monday.
Flores pleaded guilty on Oct. 14 to second-degree murder in the killing of Antonio Santos last May.
The victim was shot multiple times outside a home in Bapchule (bap-CHU’-lee), Arizona, and Flores was originally charged with first-degree murder.
