A “picky” bear with a hankering for sweets broke a window at a Colorado family bakery and gorged himself on 24 pies, leaving one flavor behind — strawberry rhubarb.

“Cherry and apple was his favorite. He passed over the strawberry rhubarb,” said Kristi Lehnert, Fox 31 in Denver reported. “Maybe he wasn’t feeling like a tart pie, I guess.”

Ms. Lehnert, the owner of the Colorado Cherry Company in Lyons, called the bear “a picky little guy,” The Guardian said.

“He just made his way right in, hopped on top of the ovens and hopped down and had a feast,” Ms. Lehnert’s daughter Mikaela told the Denver station. “Just devoured pies, sugar, cocoa and left a mess behind.”

The break-in occurred sometime between Monday night and early Tuesday morning. The family plans to fix the broken window as soon as possible.

“We have a feeling he knows it’s here, so he’s going to come back,” she said, The Guardian reported.
