RIVER ROUGE, Mich. (AP) - Authorities are warning residents of River Rouge to boil their water before drinking it after a drop in pressure created the risk of bacterial contamination in the southern Detroit suburb.
The city of about 7,800 people issued the drinking water warning Tuesday.
WDIV- posted a copy of the warning TV (https://bit.ly/1OYbBLS ). It tells residents they should bring water to a boil for one minute before using it.
The city says a water main broke Tuesday, causing the pressure drop. It says that crews are taking corrective measures, and the problem should be fixed by Saturday.
