Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump says there’s a good chance he’d let some world leaders reach out to him if he’s elected, rather than the other way around.

“I may not call any global leaders. I think I’d probably have them call me,” Mr. Trump said in an interview this week with Bloomberg TV when asked who the first four global leaders he’d call on the phone from the White House would be.

“I may — I may call ‘em, may not call ‘em — it depends,” he said. “I mean, it’s all a very deep, psychological thing. I have had a great temperament for business and for making money, and I’ve got to make the nation rich again and I’ve got to make the nation strong again before it can be great again, because we’re a debtor nation.”

“Right now, our roads are crumbling, our airports are horrible. When you fly into LaGuardia, it’s an embarrassment,” Mr. Trump said. “So we’ve got to do something.”

“As to who I’m going to call, I will get along far better than this administration gets along,” he said.
