STAFFORD, Va. (AP) - A man charged with assaulting a woman along a Stafford County road in October has been extradited to Virginia after his arrest last month in North Carolina.
The Free-Lance Star, citing court records, reports (https://bit.ly/2icIM01 ) 26-year-old Roberto Carlos Flores Sibrian was booked Monday into the Rappahannock Regional Jail. He’d been in custody in Sanford, North Carolina, since his arrest.
The Stafford County Sherriff’s Office says a woman was driving along Kings Highway on Oct. 31 when a car collided with hers and she was dragged outside and assaulted for more than two hours.
Authorities say Flores Sibrian is in the country illegally. A grand jury indicted him last month on charges of abduction with the intent to defile, aggravated sexual battery, rape and two counts of sodomy.
