POSEN, Ill. (AP) - A man has been charged in a crash in the southern Chicago suburb of Posen that killed three women.

The Daily Southtown reports (https://trib.in/2hHAi3K ) 32-year-old Wesley Rodgers faces charges including three counts of felony aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol resulting in death.

His lawyer, Michael Levinsohn, says his own independent investigation of the crash had turned up discrepancies with the police narrative. He says Rodgers had been out celebrating his birthday and everyone was returning from a club at the time of the 3 a.m. Dec. 15 crash in Posen.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office says 26-year-old Jaquira L. Brown of Chicago, 22-year-old LaNae Riley of Chicago and 29-year-old Tondalia Dubose of Minneapolis died in the crash. A fourth female passenger was hospitalized in critical condition.
