RIVERSIDE, Calif. (AP) - Two men sought for a double killing in Riverside have been arrested and a third man has died in a shootout with authorities.

Authorities announced Thursday that 24-year-old Anthony Eddington was killed Wednesday in Coalinga in Fresno County when he stormed out of a house and opened fire on SWAT officers and U.S. marshals serving an arrest warrant.

Eddington and two other reputed gang members were sought in connection with the shooting of two Guatemalan immigrants in Riverside last year. The victims had no gang ties. A third man was shot in the face but survived.

Two men were arrested Wednesday in San Diego County and Bakersfield in connection with the attack. They’re facing charges of first-degree murder.

Riverside County prosecutors haven’t decided whether to seek the death penalty.
