OXON HILL, Md. (AP) - Two children have been hospitalized after a car crash led to a dump truck colliding into a townhouse in Prince George’s County.

County fire officials say the incident happened Wednesday morning in Oxon Hill. The truck hit the townhome after being involved in a crash with a car and leaving the roadway.

Officials say two children who were injured were in the other car involved in the crash and not in the house that was struck. They were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Three homes were evacuated, and authorities say one of them was declared uninhabitable. The Red Cross was called in to assist the family of that home.
