BEAVER DAM, Ky. (AP) - A western Kentucky man has been charged with murder in the death of a woman whose body was found in a rural lake.

Kentucky State Police said Thursday that 41-year-old Donald M. Lynch of Beaver Dam was also charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and was being held without bond in the Ohio County jail.

Lynch is accused in the death of 30-year-old Amanda N. Riley of Livermore. Police said the medical examiner determined she died of blunt force trauma.

Police said a hunter reported the body to authorities last Friday. The lake is located on the Peabody Wildlife Management Area in Ohio County.

Online jail records didn’t indicate whether Lynch is represented by a lawyer who could comment on his behalf.
