DEXTER, Maine (AP) - Maine law enforcement had some Christmas Eve fun trying to find Santa.

WCSH-TV (https://on.wcsh6.com/2hkVWdr ) reports that all units were asked on a police scanner to try to locate a red, shiny older-model sleigh with nine reindeer and out-of-state plates.

The driver was a white male, 5-feet tall and weighing 350 pounds, with blue twinkling eyes, white hair and beard, wearing a red suit, black boots and a red cap.

His last name was Claus, first name Santa, with aliases Kris Kringle, St. Nick and Father Christmas.

It was reported that the lead reindeer had a red shiny nose. The subject was witnessed entering and existing chimneys in the Dexter area.
