NEW YORK (AP) - A man has been struck by an SUV and killed on Staten Island.
Police say Ramone Fores was hit Tuesday night in the Tottenville neighborhood while he was trying to cross a street midblock.
The 33-year-old man was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police say the driver of the SUV remained at the scene.
No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
