BOSWELL, Pa. (AP) - A western Pennsylvania man is jailed on charges he robbed his grandmother of $363 while taking a ride with her to a bank.

State police say 32-year-old Shawn Leskovich, of Jenners Township, was riding in the car Monday after a doctor’s appointment when the woman cashed a check and was headed to the bank.

That’s when the woman tells police that Leskovich became irate, pulled the rearview mirror off her windshield, and cracked the front window in two spots.

When the woman tried to get out of the car to go into the bank, Leskovich allegedly pushed her into the back seat, stole the money from her pocket, shoved her to the ground and left.

Online court records don’t list an attorney for Leskovich, who remains in the Somerset County jail.
