ANALYSIS/OPINION:

Iran is the national security gift that keeps on giving. Even the Secretary-General of the U.N. recently said that Iran is not living up to the “spirit” of the Iranian nuclear deal signed by multiple world powers last year. Iran continues to develop and test ballistic missiles, threaten international shipping and call for the destruction of the Jewish state. Meanwhile, the Obama administration continues to unfreeze billions of dollars for the Islamic theocracy to buy sophisticated weapons from Russia and to rebuild its economy.

The Iranian army’s Deputy Chief of Staff Brig. Gen. Ali Shadmani said Tuesday that “If the enemy makes a small mistake, we will shut the Strait of Hormuz, kill their sedition in the bud and endanger the arrogant powers’ interests,” reports The Times of Israel.

Recently, secret side agreements from the Iran nuclear ‘deal’ were leaked which showed Iran can acquire a nuclear weapon in about half the time the Obama administration advertised, about 10 years. This announcement came on the heels of officials within the White House national security organization who bragged that the administration “made up” experts to sell the deal and created an “echo chamber” of false information in the American media to facilitate their deception.

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has pledged to “renegotiate” the deal once in office and called it the worst deal imaginable for the American people. “They got everything they wanted, we got nothing,” said Mr. Trump.
