Florida GOP Senate candidate Carlos Beruff says the Obama administration has done more to advance transgender bathrooms than it has done to get a better handle on ISIS in a new television ad in which he calls on voters to “clean house” in Washington.

Casting himself as the outsider in the GOP Senate primary race featuring Sen. Marco Rubio, Mr. Beruff says in the ad that “folks in Washington have it all figured out - they are going to make your choices and run your life.”

“They are already forcing you to buy government health care and now they are dictating who uses your bathroom at school,” Mr. Beruff says in the spot. “Obama may not have ISIS under control, but he’s got the toilets taken care of.”

He says it is “time to clean house and put America first.”

“I am not a politician,” he says. “I am just a business guy who has had enough.

A News 13/Bay News 9 poll showed that the incumbent leads Mr. Beruff and the rest of his rivals by more than 60 percentage points.
