A popular YouTube star was attacked and now fears for his life after filming a video titled “Radical Islam vs Radical Christianity.”

Vlogger “Joey Salads” uploaded a “social experiment” to YouTube on Monday that juxtaposed reactions to a man screaming “Allahu Akbar!” and “Praise Jesus!” while running by random citizens. Each character dropped a bomb-like device, although the Muslim character wore a white thwab.

Roughly 750,000 people watched the video, which shows citizens running in fear from the Muslim “terrorist” while offering confused shrugs when a “Christian terrorist” appears.

Another YouTube star, Yousef Saleh Erakat blasted Mr. Salads for perpetuating stereotypes.

“Why is the Christian in your experiment dressed in normal clothing?” Mr. Erakat asked Tuesday, the Daily Mail reported. “[If] you wanted to push a stereotype, have the other character dress as KKK and now tell me it’s okay.”

Other critics said the video was in poor taste since it was uploaded one day after the Orlando, Florida terror attack at a gay nightclub that killed 49 and wounded 53 others. Terrorist Omar Mateen, 29, called 911 and pledged allegiance to ISIS during the shooting and was eventually killed by a SWAT team.

Mr. Salads’ next video, “It got real, I was attacked,” shows him with a swollen cheek.

“I don’t even know what to say, guys,” Mr. Salads said. “Well, my personal information is out there. People want to kill me. […] I don’t even know what to do. […] Why am I getting f***ing punched in the face for that?”

A follow-up video on Twitter by Mr. Salads announced that individuals obtained and released his father’s home address, telephone number, and email address.

“Now I’ve got to worry about my family getting killed,” the YouTube star said.
