A swimsuit model was reportedly paid $3,000 a month plus travel expenses to serve as the office manager for a Donald Trump campaign office in Florida.

Ashley Byers, 22, who has an account at ModelMayhem.com under the name Christina Alessia, was tasked with managing a campaign office in the Sunshine State, traveling on at least one occasion to other states to warm up crowds at rallies, Heat Street, a Dow Jones-owned news and commentary site, reported Monday.

At the Illinois GOP Convention in May, she was “introduced as a ‘retired ballerina,’” according to National Public Radio’s local affiliate.

Ms. Byers didn’t respond to several Heat Street interview requests sent to her Trump campaign phone number and email, nor to a message sent to her Facebook account.

According to a Facebook page which showcases her modeling photos — last updated June 18 — the Texas-born Ms. Byers says she “danced for many professional ballet companies along the east coast including Ballet Theatre of Maryland, The Baltimore Ballet, Sarasota Ballet, Ballet Pensacola, The Brandon Ballet, and The Wilmington Ballet Company.”

“At the end of the 2014-2015 season, after dancing professionally for 6 years, I announced my official retirement from the dance world so I could pursue a full time career in modeling,” she wrote in her Facebook bio.
