The Right Side Forum with Armstrong Williams offers an analysis this week of major events and the 2016 residential race with three of the area’s top journalists. Armstrong’s guests include Joe Perticone, congressional reporter for the Independent Journal Review; Kimberly Atkins, chief Washington correspondent and columnist for The Boston Herald, and Al Weaver, political reporter.

The conversation will be about substance, not sound bites, Armstrong predicts. The show airs Saturday on WJLA News Channel 8 at 10:30 a.m. and repeats at 6:30 p.m, It can also be viewed online on www.wjla.com.

In a separate broadcast, Armstrong also interviews acclaimed television writer and producer Norman Lear at his home in Brentwood, California. Mr. Lear is the man behind some of America’s most recognizable shows, including All in the Family, Good Times, Mary Hartman, and the feature films Spinal Tap, Stand By Me, and Princess Bride. The show will also air on Saturday on WJLA News Channel 8 at 10:30 p.m. and can be seen online.
