The Washington Redskins will begin training camp July 27 at the Bon Secours Training Center in Richmond. The team will spend approximately 20 days at the facility and a full schedule will be released later this spring.
While the schedule is still being finalized, there is a possibility of joint-practices. Last season, the Redskins hosted a joint session with the Houston Texans. A fight broke out between the two teams and was featured on HBO’s “Hard Knocks,” which followed the Texans through training camp.
In 2014, the Redskins also held joint practices with the New England Patriots.
“We’re talking about it,” general manager Scot McCloughan said on Monday at Ryan Kerrigan’s Leukemia Golf Classic. “I’d like to. Don’t like the fights, but I like to see our guys fighting.”
