HOLLAND, Mich. (AP) - Hundreds of Cushman scooter enthusiasts are expected to visit western Michigan for Cushman Club of America’s 34th annual national rally.
The Holland Sentinel reports (https://bit.ly/22vlsMk ) the event takes place June 6-10 at the Ottawa County Fairgrounds. Many will ride their scooters through downtown Holland on the evening of the first day of the event, which is hosted by the West Michigan Cushman Club.
The Cushman scooter started production in 1936. In World War II, the U.S. military used the scooters. The company quit making the scooter in 1965.
