HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) - Police say an elderly man was killed in Hartford when his car rolled back into him as he unloaded groceries.

Officers arrived at the home of 88-year-old Eusebio Coutinho and found him trapped under the vehicle around 1 p.m. Monday. No one was in the car.

He was pronounced dead at Hartford Hospital.

Authorities say Coutinho had been unloading groceries from the running car when it rolled back, hit him and pinned him under the rear tire.

Police say there appears to be no foul play.
