Speculation about who’ll serve in Donald Trump’s Cabinet has been percolating around Washington. But the president-elect dismissed it all Tuesday night.

Mr. Trump took to Twitter to say only he knows who is in the running.

“Very organized process taking place as I decide on Cabinet and many other positions. I am the only one who knows who the finalists are!” he tweeted.

Mr. Trump’s tweet came after a day of reports of infighting among Trump advisers over key appointments and a shakeup in the transition team.

Mr. Trump tweeted to shoot down speculation in the press just before 10 p.m. after having dissed the press in another way Tuesday evening.

After his transition team had told reporters covering the president-elect that he would be down for the evening at Trump Towers, he slipped away for an evening dinner.

He took a presidential-size motorcade to the 21 Club in midtown Manhattan to have dinner with daughter Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner.

According to CNN, people in the restaurant recognized Mr. Trump, met with the president-elect, and took photos with him.
