TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Tulsa prosecutors have dropped a murder charge against a man accused of fatally stabbing his mother.
KTUL-TV (https://bit.ly/2eA1kWC ) reports that Arthur DeVaughn was arrested in 2014 in the death 51-year-old Glenda Castaneda. Authorities say DeVaughn called 911 and officer arrived at a home and found Castaneda’s body.
Prosecutors dismissed the charge, saying DeVaughn is incompetent to stand trial. DeVaughn will continue to receive treatment at a state mental health facility.
