SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Two years after three men disappeared from Salt Lake City leaving blood in their vehicle, families still don’t have answers.

On Nov. 1, 2014, 23-year-old Braden Emerson, 34-year-old Levi Collins and 35-year-old Danny Gallego were last seen planning to go on an ATV ride. Days later, blood found in one of the men’s SUV was matched to Collins and Emerson. Police believe both were murdered inside the vehicle.

Family members attended a candlelight vigil on Tuesday to mark the anniversary of the men’s disappearance.

The families of the missing men say it’s extremely frustrating that the police investigation has stalled, especially as evidence points to two Utah men.

Salt Lake police say the case has been completed and handed over to the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office. District Attorney’s officials say the case is still active.
