During the 2012 presidential campaign, Fox News analyst Dick Morris appeared on many shows predicting that Mitt Romney would beat President Obama. Well, he was wrong, and he quickly disappeared from Fox News. That action was swift, and it showed us that Fox News was no longer going to employ an analyst that was wrong as dramatically as Mr. Morris had been. My, how four years has changed things.

For the past year-and-a-half, numerous analysts consistently predicted that Donald Trump had no chance of becoming our president. Well, they were wrong, too. The only difference is that these same analysts now tell us in precise detail everything Mr. Trump is doing wrong, which cabinet members should be appointed and why those already appointed are the wrong choices. If I were any one of them, I might spend more time polishing my resume. Their network and cable bosses seem to be clueless, too.

Whether you like it or not, Fox News reacted in a manner acceptable to most viewers. The remaining media still seems to want to manipulate public opinion. They don’t seem to get it, and this was likely to be a contributing factor in Hillary Clinton’s loss.
