SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - South Dakota’s soybean harvest is coming to a close.

The Agriculture Department says in its weekly crop report that the soybean harvest is 95 percent complete, near the average pace.

The sorghum harvest in the state also is coming to a close, at 90 percent done, ahead of the average. The corn harvest is about two-thirds done and the sunflower harvest about three-fourths complete.

Nearly 90 percent of the state’s winter wheat crop has emerged.

Pasture and range conditions in South Dakota are rated 36 percent good to excellent. Stock water supplies are 71 percent adequate to surplus.
