BALTIMORE (AP) - Larry Brihm Jr. ran 48 yards for a touchdown and threw a 44-yard touchdown pass to Keavon Mitchell in the fourth quarter to power Bethune-Cookman to a 41-10 victory over Morgan State in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference battle Saturday.
Uriel Hernandez kicked field goals from 23 and 25-yards out and Jamaruz Thompkins powered in from 2-yards out to cap a 10-play, 45-yard drive as the Wildcats (3-5, 3-3) built a 20-3 lead at intermission.
Brihm was 16 of 28 passing for 235 yards and a touchdown and carried 12 times for 62 yards and a touchdown. Mitchell finished with four catches for 113 yards and a touchdown.
Bethune-Cookman checked the Morgan State offense, limiting the Bears (2-6, 2-4) to just 125 yards through the air and 32 yards on 30 carries on the ground.
Chris Andrews completed just 10 of his 28 pass attempts for 113 yards.
