It seems that FBI Director James Comey is nothing more than a bait-and-switch artist (“FBI chief James Comey should resign,” Web, Nov. 7). In July he laid out a case against Hillary Clinton. And when it seemed as though criminal charges were going to be recommended, he pulled it away by saying there had been no criminal intent.

Then, a week-and-a-half before the election, he said there were an additional 650,000 emails to be reviewed. By doing so he gave hope to those who thought that this time he was going to right a wrong. As it turned out, two days before election day he flipped it just like he did in July. Bait and switch. I’d like to know who’s pulling his strings.

Do we have a corrupt government? You bet. For evidence, you need look no further than this FBI investigation (and before that, the two tortured decisions by Chief Justice John Roberts to justify the Affordable Care Act).
